The AL-800H with a single 3CX800A7 delivers 1,250W PEP on all bands 1.8 to 30MHz. As with the other kilowatt amplifiers it is fitted with current protection which stops damage from inrush current, has air cooling and vernier reduction drives for tuning and matching. With dual illuminated cross-needle meters and compact desk size makes this an attractive amplifier in the range.
